Hi Tom

The walk in run with the raised coop that you made for us is well made and suits us and our hensl. The hens love it, and we can feed the hens and clean the run without kneeling or stooping. An excellent design which I am sure other hen keepers may like. Cleaning out the coop with the wide rear doors is very easy as we can put a wheelbarrow under the door cill to catch the old straw and droppings

Tom, I set everything up yesterday. Nice and easy, great instructions. I put the electric fence together today, also pretty easy and the hens were adopted today. We got six Columbian Blacktails which at 13months were due for the chop sadly.... but not these lucky girls. They all look like they think they have won the lottery in their new Devon Lodge Henhouse. Can't wait to find our first egg. I am sure anyone that sees our new Henhouse will be very impressed. You should stick your name on them. I would be proud of that. I even have visitors from Somerset/Devon coming for a look at ours in Kent.

Thought it was time to wish you and yours a 'happy and prosperous new year'. Hope you enjoyed a lovely Christmas break. As promised here are some photos of your beautiful hen house with our beautiful hens in it. They took no time at all to settle in and are no longer confiined to their run but enjoy the whole expanse of the field by day. We have found the house and run not only secure, warm and weatherproof but also a doddle to clean out each week. We would gladly recommend this product to any prospective hen house hunters and I am sure our chickens would second that!

Hi Tom, Thanks for doing the Duck house, they love it and go in readily at night. The mesh flooring is working well. The birds go in wet at night and emerge dry in the morning! Cheers!

A fantastic hen house and run which has been built with great care and attention. Tom has done an excellent job in adding all the extras i wanted, and my 4 hens just love their house. There are cheaper Hen Houses on the market, but they are not very durable. The Devon Hen House Lodge Pack is high quality, made with solid pressure treated wood, with quality fittings, by a craftsman dedicated to customer service. All at a very reasonable price, by a really nice and genuine guy.

After Tom had delivered and erected our Hen House Lodge Pack, the chickens put themselves to bed at dusk, without any encouragement!!

I bought the Mansion Hen House and it is excellent quality, really well built with good quality materials. I looked a lot online and was glad to find someone who made houses in Devon and that they are of solid construction. Please Note: I have copied this from an email sent to me last week regarding a Lodge and Run pack that I made and delivered to Mrs B, from South Devon. Tom @ Devon Hen Houses.

We have had our Lodge Hen House since September, it has given us endless enjoyment watching our very happy contented hens go about their business. The lodge is perfect, easy to keep clean and tidy and to move about the paddock, together with the run. We cannot fault the service we have received from Tom, the lodge and the run were both put together on site with the utmost care and attention to detail. Any minor issued were dealt with promptly and without question. We would not hestiate but to recommend Tom and his Devon Hen Houses.

Just to say that I am thrilled with my country cottage hen house and the chickens seem very contented - each providing me with an egg a day. Every one seems to take pleasure in egg collecting!

The attached run provides fox security at vulnerable times and the large fenced compound installed by Tom gives the hens secure freedom when I am out - but then I do have a fox lurking in the field behind me!

Finally, the hens themselves are delightful. I am afraid each has a name and they all come running when they see a pair of boots. I also find it quite entertaining at bed time when they all file back to their house and snuggle in like ducks (mine dont roost). A great investment!

We have had our lovely duck house for over a year now and can't recomend them too highly. They are very well made and look fantastic & the ducks seem very happy in their new home too. Tom's advice and care to attention sets Devon Hen Houses apart from other suppliers and if we ever need anything similar they shall be my 1st port of call.

We contacted Tom and requested a goat house to our own specifications, although Tom had never built a goat house before, he took on board what we wanted and built a superb residence for our two pygmy goats. Who by all accounts seem to be very happy with his workmanship, as we are also. If the time comes that we need any more outdoor buildings for any of our other little animals Tom will be first choice.
